Art in Conversation with Benji Reid” — capturing the idea of the artist in dialogue about his work, practice, and creative philosophy (based on recent interviews and events where Reid talks about his art.
Benji Reid describes art as a living conversation between body, image, and audience. Through his self-coined practice of choreo-photolism, he blends dance, theatre, and photography to explore identity, Black British experience, vulnerability, and being truly seen. In conversation, he emphasizes process over polish, emotional honesty, and art as a space for empathy and connection rather than fixed categories.
